Established in 2019, Hi Life Beverages is a family owned, Canadian-based company that prides themselves with having authentic, quality products. Hi Life Beverages produces, sells, and distributes healthy and refreshing juices extracted from Hibiscus Roselle pods. This unique fusion is then blended with fruits and spices supplied by local Toronto based businesses.

Originally, the production of Roselle juice was inspired after years of making Hibiscus juice for family, friends, and private parties. Peter Raiwe, the founder of Hi Life Beverages, says: “It’s nostalgic taste brings back pleasant memories of our youth and home, as it is known around the world by many different names. Yet the essence of this tantalizing beverage remains the same. We decided to venture into the beverages business to bring this special blend of Hibiscus Roselle juice to the western market to share our nourishing refreshment.”

Peter realized he needed to get online when business began to slow due to colder weather, and the COVID 19 lockdown. Peter quickly realized that the future and direction of the business demanded an online presence, since the lockdown had changed so much of their daily lives. After doing some research he discovered the ShopHERE Powered By Google Program. Peter says, “the online store setup process was very informative and educational. The fact I got to work with a coordinator took a lot of loads off my shoulders and relieved me of a lot of stress.” Getting online was made easy through the ShopHERE Program.

“The ShopHERE Program has been a very good tool for helping and supporting my business. It creates an avenue for young entrepreneurs like me to think outside the box. The program provided me with more information, education, and innovation on the way I can run my business.”

Getting online is huge for small business owners. The opportunity of getting discovered by new customers is much more possible with a website. The ShopHERE Program offers businesses the guidance and education required to set up and market an online store.
