Cozy Up Your Home With Meiva Macrame Home Decor
Sara Nguyen is the owner of Meiva Macrame, a fiber artistry business based out of Windsor, Ontario. The warm colours of Sara’s handmade macrame are sure to make any home feel cozy. Her website, built with the help of the ShopHERE powered by Google program, matches these warm tones to create a welcoming feeling as soon as you enter her online storefront. You can get an assortment of products from Meiva Macrame such as coasters, lanyards, keychains, plant hangers, car hangers, bookmarks with hand drawn florals, and even custom pieces.
Meiva Macrame was inspired by natural home decor and incorporates home aesthetics with simple modern trends. The materials are recycled and naturally dyed with the goal of being completely environmentally friendly and sustainable. When she started her business, Sara wanted to make custom decor for people to enjoy and specialized items that were different from other items on the market.
“I wanted to aggregate styles to create my very own unique style.”
Sara signed up for the ShopHERE powered by Google program and was delighted with the eCommerce Coordinator assigned to work with her to create her eCommerce website. She feels her Coordinator was helpful and went above and beyond to make the website beautiful.
“My eCommerce Coordinator was super nice and professional, she was always working on things to make me satisfied with my experience.”
Her biggest challenge and opportunity is attracting customers to order through her branding. With an online storefront that’s so warm and welcoming, and an aesthetically pleasing Instagram feed to match, Sara is doing a great job at solidifying a strong brand presence. Her Instagram has garnered over 1,100 followers who love her brand and artistry.
Sara found the ShopHERE powered by Google program easy and was very happy with the extended Shopify trial period that Digital Main Street offers as a benefit of the program. Her eCommerce Coordinator helped make the process easy to understand, was professional, and always worked on things to satisfy Sara’s vision for the eCommerce website.
With an online storefront, Meiva Macrame is able to serve people that enjoy simple yet tasteful accessories and home decor from any device they find her on. Sara strives for her products to be amazing quality while remaining reasonably priced.
Sara views success as hearing how much her customers love the products. She loves when customers recommend products they want to see made in the future. Sara highly values her customers’ opinions and they inspire her to create more unique items for her collection. Meiva Macrame recently turned one year old, and Sara cannot believe it’s been a year. She is grateful for the unconditional support from her family, friends, and her loyal customers.
