It\u2019s common for a company to have its own website and social media profiles. But that shouldn\u2019t be an excuse for small businesses to ignore social media as a way to connect with their customers and promote their brand.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"item-22900764\" class=\"px-post-text sc-iBmynh hZKzUU\">\n<p data-type=\"block\" data-alignment=\"align-left\" data-font-size=\"normal\">\u201cMake time to interact with your audience on the platforms you are active on,\u201d she says. \u201cThis means to like, retweet and talk with them. Remember that the key part of social media is that it\u2019s social.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"item-22900765\" class=\"px-post-text sc-iBmynh hZKzUU\">\n<p data-type=\"block\" data-alignment=\"align-left\" data-font-size=\"normal\">To make the most out of social media, take some time to read what your audience is saying about you, your competitors and the rest of the market.
