Cheyenne Staats, the owner of Mohawk Beads, is a talented beadwork artist from the Bear Clan of the Kanyen\u2019kehaka (Mohawk) Nation, the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. Cheyenne is a passionate artist who works with every customer to \u201cbring their vision to life and create for them something they will wear with pride.\u201d Cheyenne also provides beading supplies and kits for beginners and teaches others how to bead, offering workshops online and in person.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cheyenne was referred to the ShopHERE powered by Google program by a friend who recognized the potential for enhancing her online presence with an e-commerce store. With a specific goal of building a website to sell her products, Cheyenne applied to the ShopHERE program. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The ShopHERE powered by Google program provided small businesses and artists like Cheyenne with free support to build a new online store. Each entrepreneur was paired with a dedicated e-commerce coordinator who assisted each business in their unique e-commerce solution needs. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Cheyenne worked with their e-commerce coordinator to build and launch a new online store for Mohawk Beads that aligned with Cheyenne's vision and showcased the brand and products in a way that's visually appealing and easy for customers to shop. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe E-Commerce Coordinator\u00a0was very friendly , helpful, and answered all my questions and taught me how to run my website with ease. \u00a0I now feel like I have a place to just post my items and services and I know it'll be appealing and sellable.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Reflecting on their program experience, Cheyenne found the ShopHERE program to be “extremely helpful and informative,” emphasizing its role in simplifying the process of setting up the new online store.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“The process of setting up my online store was so smooth and easy I couldn't believe how simple it was.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Since launching her online store, Cheyenne now feels equipped to reach a wider audience and showcase her creations with confidence, she is very happy with the flexibility her business provides.\u00a0<\/p>\n
