If there is music playing and a dance floor available, chances are you will find Andy Dwar, the owner of Andy’s Dance Party on the dance floor. Andy is always the first one on and last one off of the dance floor. The social aspect of going out to dance with friends and the opportunity to make a new one along the way has always intrigued Andy. 

Having the combined passion of dance and music gave Andy the idea to host his own events and dances. He always believed he would do a really good job of putting on dances and generating music for people to come and enjoy.

That’s when the idea came to Andy to begin his own business – and soon Andy’s Dance Party was founded. 

“When I started to put on my own dances I believed I could do a better job of selecting and playing music than the DJ’s I hired so I got into playing my own music for my functions.”

Creating a fun environment, taking time to set up the bright lights, decorating and mixing music is a job Andy enjoys for all of those who attend his events. 

Setting up your first e-Commerce business and online store is a big task, but Andy’s experience was a team effort. He felt that he was being heard in terms of the direction and expectations he was looking for in his website. Andy found the process an interesting and educational experience.

When asked about the ShopHERE program, Andy says he really likes the program. The experience opened his eyes to the possibilities of marketing my business and getting a website up and running.

Since launching his website Andy says the feedback has been nothing but positive.
