Small Business Spotlight: Myofascial Release Mississauga
Myofascial Release Mississauga grew from a belief that true healing comes from reconnecting with the body. With support from Digital Main Street, the team expanded their reach through digital tools, online education, and new ways to support clients beyond their clinic walls.
At Myofascial Release Mississauga, owners Nelin and Justin Krull have built a clinic rooted in the belief that healing goes deeper than easing pain. “We’ve always felt that people deserve sustainable healthcare, not quick fixes,” they shared. Their work focuses on helping clients reconnect with their bodies through gentle, sustained-pressure Myofascial Release, creating space for true recovery from long-held tension, trauma, and restriction.
They opened their clinic in 2020 after experiencing firsthand how transformative Myofascial Release could be. What began as a professional curiosity quickly became a calling. “We saw the impact this work had on our own lives, and we knew we wanted to bring that to our community,” they said. Over the past five years, the business has grown into one of Canada’s leading Myofascial Release facilities, with a heart-centered team committed to one-on-one care, education, and whole-body healing. Still, what matters most to them is the trust they’ve built with clients — each story of better sleep, improved mobility, or relief after years of discomfort is a reminder of why they do this work.
Nelin and Justin participated in the Digital Main Street program in 2021 and again in 2023, and describe the experience as “incredibly reassuring during a very uncertain time.” When the pandemic forced them to pause in-person appointments, they needed a way to continue supporting clients from home. With guidance from the program, they developed digital offerings such as online courses and self-care resources, creating a revenue stream that didn’t rely solely on clinic visits. “Before DMS, building a digital presence felt overwhelming. Afterward, we had the tools and the confidence to move forward,” they explained. The program also helped them create the visual assets they needed to promote these new services online, allowing them to stay connected with their community during a challenging period.
Through the Digital Transformation program, they learned that digital adoption is ultimately about connection. While word-of-mouth had always driven their growth, they realized the importance of meeting people where they already are — searching online, scrolling through social media, or looking for answers about chronic pain. By creating blogs, videos, and educational content, they’ve been able to reach clients both locally and across the country. “Our online course opened doors for people who can’t visit us in person. It’s allowed us to support so many more people than we ever expected,” they said. These digital tools have strengthened relationships with existing clients while expanding their reach far beyond Mississauga.
Looking ahead, Myofascial Release Mississauga is focused on deepening its impact. They are partnering with Dimensions Algonquin Highlands to lead restorative retreats that bring their Myofascial work into nature — an offering they’ve dreamed about for years. They are also exploring corporate wellness partnerships to bring Myofascial education and stress-relief techniques into workplaces, supporting employees dealing with tension and burnout. At the same time, they plan to continue growing their community of online learners through courses, video content, and digital education. “Our mission is to become the go-to treatment centre for any Canadian suffering with chronic pain,” they shared. “Digital tools allow us to reach the people who need us most — no matter where they are.”
