Virtual Consumer Behaviour Research
XpertVR conducts consumer behaviour research in virtual reality (VR) with some of the biggest market research firms in the industry. The reason large businesses and market research firms use VR for consumer behaviour research is because it provides a much more realistic replica of your store while providing many more data points and a tangible way to experience your customer’s data. For example, VR allows us to have 150 consumers in your demographic shop through a few virtual variations of your store as we track their eyes, hands, path, and sometimes emotions. Once everyone has gone through we can put that data together to create heatmaps showing what drew consumers’ attention, how consumers interacted with products, the most travelled path and what made people feel something. From here we can help you understand how to best layout your store for the best customer experience, to best drive profit or to become COVID safe.
But usually, this costs upwards of $40,000. XpertVR understood that this price tag was too expensive for SMB’s and even for large businesses to run regular studies. This is why we developed the Research Access Portal, a place where you can design your own store, select data you would like to collect and automatically study how your demographic interacts in your store. All of this for a fraction of the price.
We came up with the idea for the Research Access Portal at the beginning of COVID-19 so we are adding more features every month. This means one of our biggest features of allowing you to create your own virtual store is not yet on the platform but will be available within the next few months. With this in mind, we are offering for retailers to use one of our template stores for free or to pay us to create an exact replica of their store at a steep discount. From there on our platform, we pay people to participate in your study so we are also offering a discount on paying participants so that you can get feedback on your store with as little as a cost to you as possible.
