26 Years Of Financial Planning Knowledge is Brought Online With Digital Main Street
Mutual Financial, previously DeWinter Financial, is a Strathroy, Ontario-based financial planning business that has serviced the province’s small communities, including Aylmer, St. Thomas, and Middlesex for over 26 years. Founded by Certified Financial Planning Professional Bill DeWinter, Mutual Financial prides itself on providing knowledgeable financial guidance to its clients with a strong focus on personalized engagement and community involvement. Recently, DeWinter purchased two of his competitors’ own financial planning businesses and, to better service the clients of all three of these businesses directly, has been preparing for a complete re-launch of the Mutual Financial brand.
In April 2021, DeWinter applied to the Digital Main Street program to get help in updating his business’s digital branding, strengthen his and his partners’ social media pages, and adapt his website to better service his clients remotely in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Digital Main Street Transformation team began their activities with Mutual Financial by collecting as much information as they could about the business challenges, the services, and the intentions and expectations of the business owner in the short and long term. After establishing a foundation, the team got to work.
The team created a detailed wireframe for Mutual Financial to support a website revamp, as well as, effective written and visual content to strengthen the brand’s level of personality and relatability for its clients, and updated social media visuals reflective of the business’s rebrand and new partnerships. Additionally, the team worked to revitalize existing marketing and advertising material to help DeWinter Financial relaunch as Mutual Financial.
The Digital Main Street Transformation team is confident that, through their efforts in effective, consistent, cohesive branding updates, Mutual Financial is well-positioned to begin advertising, displaying integral business information, and effectively servicing their clients across the digital landscape.
