Anna’s Soul Food Kitchen Spices Up Online Presence
Anna’s Soul Food Kitchen is a family-owned business, specializes in bringing together a unique blend of flavours and tastes on African cuisine to the north. Through their products, their mission involves educating the public on the benefits of adapting organic products into one's life, without having to miss out on flavour and affordable prices. With COVID-19 halting in-person dining, owner Pius Mukose was looking for a new outlook when it came to generating brand awareness and having his social media presence translate back into online orders.
Through the Digital Main Street Future Proof Program, Pius is one of many small-business owners who got paired with a Transformation Team to help with a website upgrade, social media boost, and promotional refresh when it came to his current business model.
The team commenced with conducting a market analysis and preparing a plan on the tasks it hoped to achieve over the three-week time span. Utilizing their time in updating website copy, improving user functionality when navigating through the various landing pages, and creating promotional materials used to showcase the brand and its assets. Through the website design and user-friendly accessibility, they were able to showcase Anna’s Soul Food Kitchen for its amazing service and extensive product line, providing customers with access to the best quality of service.
Lastly, the team finished off with providing Pius with the best tactics and strategies to use when increasing user engagement and building trust amongst followers and customers via various social media channels. As a final sign off, Pius was left with all required materials, templates and techniques to set him in motion for expanding sales, client reach and all possibilities to remain successful long after the program.
