Fulfilling Parkway Pharmacy's Prescription for a New Look

A great alternative to waiting in the long lines of a big box pharmacy is to head on over to Parkway Pharmacy, an independently owned business located in Cambridge, Ontario. Parkway now offers free delivery to the Cambridge area and responds quickly to online inquiries, which yields them five star reviews and keeps them competitive with other independent pharmacies. They have many loyal customers because they make personalized and quick service their main priority.

Parkway Pharmacy came to the Digital Main Street, Future Proof Program with a limited online presence. Before completing the program, their online presence consisted of just a website with limited content and resharing posts by other businesses on their Facebook page. Parkway’s main goal was to increase their visibility to customers with a brand new website and improve the quality of their social posts with new content.

The main thing the Transformation Team did for Parkway Pharmacy was to create consistency across all of their digital assets. They started from the ground level by creating a colour palette and font style, then incorporated these into the new website and social media content.

After completing the program, Parkway Pharmacy now has a professional new website with information about booking appointments, transferring and fulfilling prescriptions, compounding, flu shots, and more. They also now have a completely refreshed social media presence. To supplement some gaps in the owner’s knowledge of social platforms, the team also provided them with step-by-step instructions, as well as a one year social media content calendar which has suggestions of weekly posts to publish.

About Digital Main Street

A $42.5-million investment from FedDev Ontario brought together the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas, Communitech, Invest Ottawa and the Ontario Business Improvement Area Association to expand the Digital Main Street Platform in order to support more businesses going digital as a response to the impacts of COVID-19 in Southern Ontario.
