Hopping Online – Building an online presence with Flatland Hops

“Having a website is great exposure and it allows us to show people what we’re doing. It was really good what they built for us, and it was really easy to work with Grace. This is something I couldn’t have done by myself, so it was nice to have the support.”

About the Business

Flatland Hops is a hop farm located in the Taber Alberta area and is owned et operated by a third-generation farming family. Their farm provides quality hop production from harvesting to processing and bagging. Flatland Hops has been in operation since 2018 and spans over 5 acres, but as the business grows, they have hopes to expand.

Key Business Challenge

When Flatland Hops came to the Digital Service Squad, they had no online presence for their business. They knew that having an online presence was important but just needed the right support to get started.

How did the Digital Service Squad help?

Flatland Hops connected with our Digital Service Squad from Community Futures Chinook. Over the course of four meetings, our Digital Service Squad team helped to build a beautiful website that could showcase the quality work that Flatland Hops produces. Now that they have a new website for their business, Flatland has a platform to share more about the services they provide.
