Small Business Spotlight: ReThink Me

Liane Wood, a Registered Psychotherapist and the CEO of ReThink Me, founded her practice in 2017 after a 25-year career as an entrepreneur. Her mission was clear: to make high-quality, compassionate mental health care both accessible and practical for everyday life.

Today, ReThink Me’s warm and down-to-earth team supports children, teens, adults, couples, and families across Belleville, Quinte West, and Prince Edward County, with both in-person and virtual options. From a free intro call to thoughtful intake and scheduling, Liane and her team remove as many barriers as possible so clients can focus on feeling better.

Liane participated in the Canada Digital Adoption Program and the Digital Transformation Grant program, both of which heavily influenced her practice. With the support of these programs, ReThink Me was able to build a professional online presence that reflected the warmth and accessibility of the clinic itself. Their new website includes online booking, integrated contact forms, and other client-friendly tools that streamline the process of reaching out for support. “The programs gave me both the technical support and the confidence to step fully into the digital side of running a modern psychotherapy clinic,” Liane shares “and it continues to benefit both our practice and the community we serve every day.”

For Liane, digital adoption became more than just a business upgrade — it was about accessibility. “Most importantly, I realized that digital tools aren’t just add-ons, they’re foundational to accessibility in today’s world. By embracing digital adoption, our practice has been able to connect with more clients, respond faster, and provide a smoother, more welcoming journey from first click to first session” Liane says.

Looking forward, ReThink Me is focused on growth that balances accessibility with high-quality care. This includes adding more therapists to the team, diversifying services for different age groups and needs, and continuing to evolve digital systems with enhanced intake forms, automation, and new online resources. Social media will also remain a key way to connect with the community, reduce stigma, and share resources that make mental health care feel approachable and simple to access.

With a strong digital foundation, a growing team, and a clear mission, ReThink Me is ready to continue making meaningful change — one person, one session, one step at a time.
