Virtual Wellness Voyage is a virtual, pharmacist-led clinic based in Toronto, founded by pharmacist entrepreneurs Anita Shishehchi et Dominic Duszczenko. Launched in April 2024, the business was created to make healthcare more timely and accessible by providing clinical services to patients from the comfort of their own homes.
With over 20 years of combined experience in the healthcare industry, Anita and Dominic saw an opportunity to modernize how care is delivered. Virtual Wellness Voyage specializes in Pre-Travel Medicine Consultations, helping patients prepare proactively for upcoming trips with prescriptions and guidance to prevent conditions. The clinic also offers Minor Ailments Assessments, Smoking Cessation Counselling, and Pharmacogenetic Testing and Consultations, all through a fully virtual model.
In 2025, Anita and Dominic participated in a Digital Main Street webinar, where they connected with Sukhvir, a member of the Digital Service Squad. Since then, she has played an ongoing role in supporting their digital growth.
“(Sukhvir) has been very supportive, responsive and helpful ever since, offering solutions and improvements for our digital presence,” Anita and Dominic shared.
Through this support, Virtual Wellness Voyage strengthened its online presence by improving organic SEO, refining keywords, and enhancing overall website health. These changes have helped increase visibility beyond referrals and support the business’s goal of attracting more organic patients. “Sukhvir provided us with a website audit report and keyword suggestions”, they shared. “After implementing the suggestions, our website looks more professional and based on traffic reports we are getting more clicks.”
