The ShopHERE Program, A "Life Saver For Entrepreneurs"
Three years ago, with a long-time desire to be an entrepreneur, Shereena Sterling established Cleaning Matters. What originally started as a business that Sterling was operating on the side of her full-time work schedule, grew until she was finally able to invest herself completely in her new business.
Cleaning Matters Services offers residential and commercial cleaning services in Toronto and the GTA Region. “We offer subscription cleaning packages to suit all of our clients' needs at affordable rates,” Sterling states. “Our newest service that we offer is home care services for seniors, in which we provide not only cleaning services, but also Assisted Daily Living Services (ADLs) to seniors and people with mobility issues. We also have a referral program in which we give cash back to people who refer the business to others.”
During the COVID-19 pandemic, with the increased fear and scrutiny surrounding cleanliness and sanitation, Cleaning Matters Services has stepped up and put customer safety and comfort first. They use eco-friendly cleaning products, protecting clients and the environment, and through initiatives like the referral program and their new ADL services, Cleaning Matters has demonstrated incredible compassion for their community.
At the start of 2020, Sterling was beginning to feel like a refresh was in order, and was planning to rebrand from Decapolis Janitorial Services to Cleaning Matters Service. To do so, it would require extensive work in updating her entire online presence, and she was starting to feel overwhelmed.
“When I received the email for the ShopHERE Program, I knew my prayers were answered. My assigned ShopHERE Coordinator took the necessary details from the previous website to make the new website look so refreshing and professional. The pages are so organized and the pictures are high quality. My ShopHERE Coordinator was patient and understanding. I told her what I wanted and she took that information and executed it perfectly. Programs like these make entrepreneurial life so much easier.”
With the help of Digital Main Street’s ShopHERE Program, Sterling rebranded and launched the new Cleaning Matters Service website within a matter of weeks. “The SHOPHERE Program is a life saver for entrepreneurs. I really appreciate the program,” says Sterling. On the brand new website, customers can now purchase from a variety of cleaning services packages and monthly subscriptions, learn more about the extended service offerings like ADL services and the money back referral program, and will soon even be able to purchase their own cleaning supplies directly from Cleaning Matters Services.
