NaNa Florist is a family-operated flower business that for the last ten years has been located in the Toronto neighbourhood of East Danforth. Owner, Shiro Mauro, and his family like to manage everything on their own, so they can always promise the best service and the utmost care with each and every order they receive. This also includes the direct purchase of flowers and delivery service to your home and office. They may be a small business but they do everything with 100% care.

At NaNa Florist, they are focused on providing personalized services with the utmost care by creating unique flower arrangements for any occasion, and they will do everything they can to meet your expectations. As a result of this attention to detail and strong reputation, NaNa Florist has many local reoccurring clients that repeatedly return for their service and the excellent quality of products they offer.

What makes NaNa Florist so unique from other flower shops? They specialize in a forgotten style of flower arrangement called ‘Ikebana’ which was non-existence ten years ago. Ikebana originated in Kyoto, Japan more than 600 years ago. NaNa Florist's arrangement designer, Teresa, has 20 years' of experience and specializes in this Japanese style of flower arrangements.

NaNa Florist's new online website features everything you need to know about their business and services. Through their online platform, you can purchase or contact the business for sympathy flowers, Ikebana arrangements, seasonal flowers, wedding flowers, corsages and so much more.

When Shiro signed up for the ShopHERE powered by Google program his business was struggling with sudden issues with their original website. They had recently lost access to their site, which resulted in the loss of potential online sales. Shiro says,

“We lost contact with the web builder. We decided to ask for some help from Digital Main Street. A Digital Main Street eCommerce Coordinator, named Michelle looked into the situation and suggested to build a new website from scratch. By surprise, Michelle got back to us with our first website draft after very short time. We had a virtual meeting many times and each time Michelle answered all my questions with patience. We could not complete the task without Michelle's help.”

Shiro says the ShopHERE has provided his business with,

“…a very user friendly website with a fantastic design on each page. The online store is also very easy to handle and update. Because of the website it has become so easy to communicate with our clients.”

When asked what Shiro thought of the ShopHERE program, he said

“…the ShopHERE program is an excellent program for small business owners like us. The process is fun and easy. Of course, for people like me who has no knowledge of running an online store, it may be intimidating at the start but now having completed the program, I feel very confident with my new found knowledge that was provided to be by our Coordinator's help. Now, everything is set up exactly how we could have imagined.”
