I make websites for artists at below-market rates. I’ve spent 15 years in selling art online for everyone from emerging artists, to Canada’s biggest art stars. My experience is built out of years of work A website for a professional artist has totally different goals and requirements than commercial product or retail websites. Presenting artwork so that it appeals to both galleries and buyers requires a specific set of skills, which I have built over time in my experience selling fine art.
A basic artist website has everything you need to market and promote your work. This does not include e-commerce, but has a lot of leads for clients to request info and initiate purchases.

This is a great option for artists who are less tech-savvy and aren’t interested in complex site updating. This site will look great year round, and you can add to it as you create new work.
