Stage 3: Design and build a functioning product
Wireframe. This is the starting point for building individual screens, and details what information and user actions take place at every stage of the user path through the app.
UI Design. Typography, iconography and existing brand elements (if applicable) are brought together to create a harmonized app look and feel.
Database Architecting. The database and hosting environment are fundamental building blocks upon which application functionally gets layered. Hosting in Amazon or Google clouds creates fast, secure apps.
Component Development. Once hosting and design are locked down, individual functions and screens are programmed, with feedback loops for client input built into sprints.
Integration. Many apps need to work with third-party data sets or connect to a transaction gateway or other service. Tight integration creates seamless user experiences.
Quality Assurance and Testing. Quality assurance and testing are ongoing throughout the development process. Before launch, a final round of testing takes place on targeted operating systems and end-user devices.
