How a Transformation Team Helped a Social Media Expert Put Some Polish on Her Website

Social media can be a tricky landscape to navigate for many small businesses but Sacha Pinto wants to make that process a lot easier. With 20+ years in corporate sales and marketing Sacha is a branding and social media strategist and educator. Her services include one-on-one intensive strategy sessions, and Social Media For Business, an online learning community with tutorials and templates for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

With the challenges of the pandemic Sacha found herself busy helping other small businesses navigate the digital space of social media. She saw the Digital Main Street Future Proof initiative as an opportunity to put some time and focus back into her own business needs.

The Transformation Team met with Sacha to learn how they could help her polish her online presence and add the small details that are forgotten when your attention is on helping others.

Through the consultation they determined that updating her website for better user experience and creating new traffic was a priority as well as helping create new content for social media advertising.

The Transformation Team started by removing unnecessary plug-ins to increase website responsiveness allowing for faster loading speeds for users. They updated existing icons and added service price ranges to help with the buyer's journey.

The navigation bar was also redesigned to increase ease of use.

The website was optimized for SEO by doing keyword research and implementing these words into the copy. The titles and meta descriptions of the web pages were updated, and alt-text was added to the images for further optimization and accessibility.

The team also created new graphics and copy for ad campaigns to be run on Sacha’s instagram, including a motion graphic of Sacha’s logo. These new content pieces also serve as a framework for future ads.Through meetings together they were able to assist Sacha in optimizing her Facebook Business Manager and helped prepare for possible new ad challenges like the Apple iOS 14 update.

In the end, Sacha was thankful for the opportunity to have a new set of eyes focused on her own business. The changes made to her website and new ad campaign ideas will allow Sacha to reach new clients who she will then help on their own digital journey.
