Empowering Women To Shine The Spotlight On Themselves

by Michelle Foster   |   January 24, 2022   |   Share this:

Danielle Joworski’s business is centered around supporting women who are 40+ to re-define what success may look and feel like to them. She helps women release boundaries and limiting beliefs they place around the results they truly want, and how to use their voice to confidently step from where they are today, to where they imagine themselves to be in their career or business.

This is Danielle’s second time around as an entrepreneur. The first time she ran a business in 2015, her fear of judgement, confidence in her value, message, and her ability to be visible as an entrepreneur were challenges. Danielle’s return to the workforce in 2018 was the catalyst for an idea to connect women's career challenges to solutions provided by women entrepreneurs, through a TV show. This provided a platform for women's voices to be heard, and for her to become more confident in her own voice. Eventually, the desire to help women amplify their voices and feel more comfortable shining the spotlight on themselves led her to the business she proudly has today.

Danielle believes that being seen, heard and found, is crucial for a business at any stage for survival and growth.

“Growing your business, especially in those early start-up days, can feel lonely and overwhelming. Having to become visible and the face or voice of your business for many women, is challenging especially if they haven't been in formal leadership, or high-visibility roles in their past careers.”

Danielle has been working on consolidating how communicates her services and events into one place, her online store. Danielle says that the biggest opportunity of being online is “…the ability to connect with others in really creative ways. Audiences are constantly changing how they want to consume information which makes it fun to be able to think outside of the box to provide value in ways that connect with and entertain audiences.”

Danielle says the ShopHERE experience was an easy next step in her entrepreneurial journey to grow her business. Working with someone who has the  technical knowledge and experience took the stress out of building a website. The ShopHERE powered by Google program made the process easy for Danielle. Danielle says the program benefited her by making her more accountable by having someone waiting on her for content to create the website. It also made using a new platform less overwhelming, the website was also a great reason to post about when it went live!

“The most valuable piece of digital marketing knowledge I learned working with the ShopHERE program is that not everything needs to be done at the same time. The point is to start in one place, or with one action. Get confident, then take the next step.”

When asked about her ShopHERE experience Danielle says,

“..the process was simple, and step-by-step. My Coordinator took great notes during our meetings, highlighting what she would do, and what was expected of me. It was easy for me to keep track of what tasks I was responsible for, and being accountable to someone else helped to motivate me to ensure my tasks were completed as efficiently as possible.”

Danielle says that at the conclusion of the program, it was nice to have a classy, elegant site created that didn't require programming. She felt educated on how to expand and manage her new website easily if desired in the future.

Danielle wants fellow small business owners to know that they need to identify what makes their  voice unique. Even if two businesses sell the exact same thing, how they show up online, the words they use, the stories they share, their perspective on a challenge are all unique and will resonate with audiences differently. How you show up influences who shows up. The sooner you embrace that uniqueness, the easier to express yourself through your digital marketing.

The ShopHERE powered by Google Program is partnered with key corporate partners to help build and optimize online stores for small businesses and artists.
