Innovating for Success: Liquid Solutions Inc.'s Digital Leap
Liquid Solutions Inc., is redefining innovation in manufacturing from their headquarters in Stoney Creek, Ontario. Specializing in polar lubricants for metalworking and mining industries, Owner, Keith Klayh knew he needed a way to better reach his customers. With the help of the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP), Liquid Solutions Inc. took a leap toward their digital goals and established an e-commerce website.
Liquid Solutions Inc. has built a reputation for creating high-quality polar lubricants designed to meet the demanding needs of metalworking and mining operations. Keith’s inspiration to start the business stemmed from a desire to bridge a gap in the market, providing tailored solutions for industries reliant on high-performance lubrication.
Recognizing a growing demand for streamlined, digital purchasing options, Keith sought to modernize his business by integrating e-commerce into their operations. He knew having an online store was essential to maintain a competitive edge and ensure customers could access and purchase products with ease.
When Keith discovered the Canada Digital Adoption Program, he saw it as the perfect solution to address their e-commerce gap and set up a new store. The CDAP program provides eligible businesses with up to $2,400 in funding to support digital growth initiatives. In addition, the program connects participants with e-commerce Advisors to guide them through the process of creating or enhancing their online presence.
With the support of the CDAP microgrant, Liquid Solutions Inc. invested in developing an intuitive and user-friendly e-commerce platform.
“The CDAP grant enabled us to develop a much-needed online store,” Keith shared. “It gave us the initiative to proceed with a new website and e-store, which are crucial for growing our business”.
The E-commerce Advisor provided valuable 1-1 guidance throughout the process, offering advice to ensure their new website met both Keith’s expectations and the needs of their customers. The CDAP-supported collaboration resulted in an online store that showcases the brand while also driving sales.
Looking ahead, Keith envisions dramatic growth for Liquid Solutions Inc. over the next five years. With a new online store in place, the company is well-positioned to continue expanding its reach, streamline customer relations, and enhance its digital presence.
“The grant provided the push we needed to embrace e-commerce fully,” Keith said. “We expect our business to increase dramatically over the next five years”.
