Sierra Levesque, co-founder of CNC Cabinets Inc. in Moonbeam, Ontario, used the Digital Transformation Grant to strengthen her online presence, streamline operations, and showcase custom cabinetry through digital tools like 3D design and Google analytics.

Sierra Levesque is the co-founder and President of CNC Cabinets Inc., a family-owned custom cabinetry business based in Moonbeam, Ontario. Founded in 2022 by Sierra and her husband Sebastien, CNC Cabinets was named in honour of their children and reflects the family-first values at the heart of the business.

Sierra and Sebastien’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2018 when they purchased a commercial janitorial company while starting their family. That first venture introduced them to entrepreneurship and flexibility—and also to Digital Main Street, which helped lay the foundation for their understanding of digital marketing and online tools.

After gaining experience as business owners, the couple decided to pursue an industry they were passionate about. They purchased a well-established regional cabinet maker that Sebastien had previously worked for and that had served the community for more than 30 years. Building on that legacy, CNC Cabinets Inc. was created with a focus on high-quality, custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects across Northern Ontario.

Today, CNC Cabinets combines local materials, advanced CNC precision millwork, and 3D design tools to bring clients’ visions to life. As an Indigenous, woman-owned business and member of the Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association, the company is also deeply committed to community involvement, mentorship, and collaboration within the region.

In 2023, Sierra returned to Digital Main Street and participated in the Digital Transformation Grant program to support the continued growth of CNC Cabinets. Having seen the value of the program firsthand, she used the opportunity to strengthen the business’s digital presence and better understand how online tools could support both marketing and operations.

Through the program, CNC Cabinets improved its website, strengthened SEO, and adopted tools such as Google Analytics and social media scheduling platforms to more consistently showcase projects and connect with customers online. Digital design software also enhanced the client experience by allowing customers to better visualize their spaces through detailed renderings. Internally, digital adoption helped streamline communication, improve project management, and increase overall efficiency.

Looking ahead, CNC Cabinets continues to grow. The business recently expanded production capacity with the addition of a CNC nesting station and transitioned to a paperless shop using workstation laptops. Future plans include renovating the showroom, introducing virtual headset technology so clients can experience their designs in immersive ways, and launching a Mini Maker’s Program to inspire young learners to explore woodworking and construction.
