At Elabe's Holistic Healing Therapy, a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges has grown into an accessible online therapy practice serving adults and couples across Ontario. Founded by Registered Social Worker and therapist Asha Ali, the practice specializes in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, and burnout through evidence-based, culturally responsive care.
Asha's journey into therapy was shaped by both personal insight and professional experience. Through her work, she recognized that many people struggle in silence or feel disconnected from support that truly understands their unique experiences. This realization inspired her to launch Elabe's Holistic Healing Therapy in August 2023, creating a virtual practice that prioritizes accessibility, inclusivity, and compassionate care.
As she built her online business, Asha quickly realized that growing her practice required more than clinical expertise—it also meant developing new digital skills.

Asha’s work with Digital Main Street began in 2024, as building an online therapy practice also meant learning how to establish and grow a strong digital presence. While she understood the importance of having a professional website and online marketing strategy, she was unsure where to begin.

With 1:1 support from the Digital Service Squad, Asha was able to build her knowledge in digital marketing strategies, including Email Marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Social Media Management. The structured, practical learning opportunities helped her develop essential skills and gain a clearer understanding of how to effectively promote her services online, improve search visibility, and engage with potential clients.
Through these programs, Asha gained the skills and confidence to independently manage her website, strengthen her online visibility through SEO, and take a more strategic approach to social media and client engagement.

While I continue to learn and grow, the Digital Main Street program has been instrumental in helping me overcome initial challenges, strengthen my online presence, and position my business for long-term success.”
Today, Asha can confidently update website content, apply SEO best practices, and maintain a digital presence that reflects her brand and values. These efforts have helped Elabe’s Holistic Healing Therapy build a stronger online foundation and better connect with individuals and couples seeking mental health support across Ontario.
Looking ahead, Asha hopes to expand the practice nationally and internationally, making accessible, high-quality online therapy available to a broader and more diverse population.
