PRODUCT OR SERVICE
Stage 2: Create detailed scope document
User Stories. Before doing wireframes, we put on a user’s shoes and walk through how the app will function. Well-mapped user stories are the starting point for design development and wireframing.
Business Process Map. A business process map goes hand-in-glove with user stories. Charting all the process steps is especially critical with complex workflows or when apps need to interact with other systems.
Product Features. A POC or MVP should contain just the core features you want to get into the hands of your target audience. Resist overbuilding: design, code, test and revise in short cycles.
Architecture. The processes and services an app provide drives the development model, which consists of front-end and back-end architecture. No canned approaches here: form always follows function.
Sprint Plan. Once what needs to be built, how and for whom is understood, we break the project into bite-sized chunks or “sprints.” Each sprint details what gets done and how long it will take.
