Q: What is the story of your business?  

Angela’s Skincare Inc is a Mississauga-based skincare brand that focuses on skin health with products made to work for all of Canada’s vast seasons. With quality as a priority, Angela’s Skincare products are scientifically formulated using natural and skin-healthy ingredients.  Each item is meticulously packaged to ensure the quality of the product is maintained. Angela’s Skincare product range currently includes a selection of face moisturizers and masks. 

Annieca Edwards, owner of Angela’s Skincare, says this about their products and mission: 

“Our ingredients are chosen based off scientific research and the product (is) formulated to ensure you get the most effect from them” 

Q: How was your experience with the ShopHERE powered by Google program?  

Edwards shares that they very much enjoyed their experience with the ShopHERE powered by Google program and felt that the support offered through the program was extremely beneficial to their business. 

Edwards shared the following about their ShopHERE powered by Google experience: 

“The ShopHERE program is heaven sent. (It is) a good help for small businesses looking to make their brand known but does not necessarily have the expertise or the funds to get the platform built.” 

Q: Tell us about your website! How was the process of getting it set up? 

With the help of the ShopHERE powered by Google program, Edwards was able to navigate their new e-Commerce platform, and learn how to edit and maintain their new website independently.  

Who says business can’t be fun? Edwards enjoyed the process of getting the online store set-up, saying:  

“I found it very fun; exploring the features of the platform and getting it to work was really a fun process.”

Q: What was it like working with your dedicated e-Commerce coordinator?  

Getting online with a brand-new website can seem like an insurmountable feat but this process was made accessible for Angela’s Skincare Inc. owner as her e-Commerce Coordinator was patient in setting up the e-Commerce platform and provided suggestions to support the business needs. Edwards says:

“My e-Commerce Coordinator was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was patient in getting the platform going and made suggestions where he considered to be necessary.”

Edward’s e-Commerce Coordinator ensured that their business was set up for success by helping build a new Shopify store. Edwards shared that her e-Commerce coordinator was able to help and give guidance with aspects of the e-Commerce platform that they weren’t familiar with. Edwards says:

“ShopHERE Powered by Google helped me to build out my Shopify store ensuring I was set up for success. There were some aspects of the platform that I didn't know or understand, and they were able to help me navigate those areas.”

Q: How will your new online store benefit your business now, and in the future?  

Edwards believes that the new website will be a large part of the business in the future. Focusing on future growth and success is a great concern for many small business owners like Edwards. Regular website maintenance is one of the ways Edwards wants to set the business apart in this digital economy.
