Local Welder Brings Structural Art Into Your Home

Cyreks, founder of Weld Done+, took their first steps towards developing their passion for melting metal when they went to welding school. After working various jobs, they applied for the Self Employment Benefit program to kick start their business, Weld Done+.

With years of experience in creating metal art, structural welding, and fabrication they discovered how much they enjoyed making one-of-a-kind items for each customer. Cyreks now focuses on building relationships with their clients by having multiple meetings ahead of preparing the piece, to ensure that their one-of-a-kind piece of art is perfect for them.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit Midland, it greatly impacted Weld Done+. As Cyreks completed their work from home, it became difficult to have clients come over to view their custom pieces. Cyreks knew they needed to overcome their biggest barrier so far, getting their store online. They came across an online advert for free online store setup by ShopHERE Powered by Google, and knew they had finally found their answer.

The process was a big learning experience for Cyreks. They quickly learned how to maintain a website and fully customize it with the help of their eCommerce Coordinator. This allowed Cyreks to create an online store that they love.

“Jordan was amazing at answering my questions, figuring some tricky things out and his communication was on point.”

Through Square, Cyreks was able to get all of their products and services online affordably. Cyreks says that they recommend the ShopHERE Program to all small business owners:

“I have actually told many of my friends about ShopHERE and I know of at least one that has been accepted into the program. I think everyone should be using this if they aren't already online.”
