With support from the Digital Service Squad, Oasis Lawns strengthened its online presence and improved how customers find and connect with its services. Founder Pawan Rakkar is now using digital tools and strategy to support continued growth across residential and commercial landscaping.
For Pawan Rakkar, founder of Oasis Lawns, building a lawn care and landscaping business in Toronto started with a clear vision. “I started the business to provide reliable, high quality outdoor services while creating beautiful spaces that homeowners can truly enjoy,” he says. What began as a small operation has grown steadily, offering services from lawn mowing and seasonal cleanups to sod installation and landscape improvements, all delivered with a focus on consistency, professionalism, and care.

Through the program, he learned how to improve his website structure, strengthen search engine optimization, and use digital tools to better understand how customers find and interact with his business. “One of the biggest takeaways for me was understanding how different digital tools and strategies work together, from search engine optimization and website improvements to analytics and marketing platforms,” he adds.
Applying these learnings has had a meaningful impact. Pawan has improved his website performance, increased visibility in search results, and built confidence in managing the digital side of his business. He now uses tools to track performance, analyze keywords, and make more informed marketing decisions. “These insights have allowed me to make smarter decisions when it comes to marketing and improving my online presence,” he says. As a result, Oasis Lawns is better positioned to connect with homeowners and clients searching for landscaping services across Toronto.
Looking ahead, growth remains a key focus. “As the company continues to grow, my goal is to keep building a strong team and expand our services while maintaining the same level of quality and care that our clients have come to expect,” says Pawan. The business is expanding its capacity to serve both residential and commercial clients, including property managers and commercial buildings.
