With a desire for change in today’s modern digital world, Lisa Bradt and her team at Cured Craft Brewing Co. were looking for new ways to get their name out into the community. Serving as a historical brewery established in the area of Leamington, her business was presented as an in-house bistro catering locally made cuisine and craft beverages to all who were interested.  With COVID-19 limiting in-person dining, Lisa and her team were looking to push online beer sales and expand their online following to now include the entire province of Ontario.

When she applied for the Future Proof Program, she had hopes of increasing her business’s online social media presence and bringing any marketing efforts in-house. She informed the Transformation Team of the gap between online sales and user engagement. Lisa was keen on exploring new options to get her brand’s name out and entice customers in areas outside her usual radius of business. She also wanted more control over the advertising that would be going out, and cut any unnecessary costs.

With the limited knowledge she did have on engaging with her online community, the Transformation Team ensured they would provide her with the appropriate guides and support to continue her progress long after the program. The team was able to transform the business’s website to showcase the diverse product range and answer all needed questions through their updated FAQ page. Customers are now able to order the brewery’s products more conveniently and efficiently than ever before.

The website is now optimized to also connect back to the various social media platforms where customers could leave reviews, get in contact with the business, and keep up to date with any promotions or future events. The team also created guides and templates to help Lisa and her team get a better grasp on navigating between social platforms. All by finding effective ways to engage with users and generate online traffic to gain insights, utilize tools such as captions, hashtags, and influencer marketing to gain market share in the industry.

Wrapping up the project, the Future Proof Program provided Cured Craft Brewing Co with the opportunity to refresh and polish their brand in a cohesive and strategically tailored design. This encompassed their business model and future trajectories accurately. Cured Craft Brewing Co is now able to continue to deliver on its promise to customers with new digital resources, advertising strategies and SEO tactics.
