Entrepreneur Uses Human Design Reading To Provide Self-Care Rituals
Muse Self-Care was born from the journey of the founder Rowan Asad, which shifted her understanding of her Human Design chart. She started using everyday rituals to peel away the layers of conditioning, and empower herself on the journey of integrational healing. With the help of the ShopHERE Powered by Google Program, Rowan was able to get support in setting up an online store built for Muse Self-Care, which allowed her the space to work on her website with minimal stress.
She worked with two different eCommerce Coordinators, who were both thoughtful and provided her with excellent advice on best practices for optimal user experience. Rowan anticipated that articulating her needs and ideas would be difficult, but her Coordinators assisted in outlining her goals. She appreciated that her Coordinators contributed their ideas and expertise in making her website as user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing as possible.

Rowan enjoyed her experience with the ShopHERE Program and encourages other entrepreneurs to make use of it. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a difficult time for everyone, especially for new entrepreneurs, and having access to experts who genuinely want to help see a small business like Rowan’s succeed has been the most profound impact Rowan had throughout the program.
The ShopHERE Program was beneficial for Rowan as it helped her save a lot of time and money. As a small business owner and solopreneur, Rowan is required to wear many hats to operate a successful and sustainable business. As she has not yet established a team to assist her, it was helpful having a Coordinator to support her in an essential part of her business.
Now the biggest challenge is trying to stick out in the saturated online space. What helped Rowan address most of the challenges she faced was the continuous support and workshops offered by Digital Main Street, even post-graduation. The largest opportunity for her now is to broaden her target audience from local to global now that she has a professional online store. Rowan’s advice for other businesses and artists on how to deal with the COVID-19 situation is:
“Take the opportunity to look within yourself for the answers, and do not be afraid to pivot! We all have something beautiful to share with the world if we are willing to listen to our soul speaking!”
