Ancient Armour Inspired Jewellery Brand Enarmoured Pivots Online
Enarmoured is a handcrafted fine art jewellery brand created by Jordan Clarke in Toronto, Ontario. Jordan creates bold elegant and timeless pieces of small batch jewellery, inspired by ancient armour. The jewellery explores protective adornment, femininity and elegance. Jordan’s background in Fine Art informs her designs and each piece of jewellery, from initial sketch to completion is formed lovingly by hand. She combines both traditional and innovative jewellery-making techniques to create unique pieces of wearable art.
Enarmoured sells earrings, necklaces, and bracelets in brass or sterling silver. While ancient armour inspired jewellery might look or sound heavy, each design is truly lightweight and wearable. You can find smaller pieces that still make an impact or large statement pieces to pair with any look. Jordan and her brand, Enarmoured, have been featured in a number of publications such as National Post, Chatelaine, Marquee, and Fashion Canada.
With COVID-19, a lot of small businesses have had to pivot from in-person to online sales and having a website to capture those sales is crucial to the survival of any business.
“Building a solid online presence is more important now than ever!”
Jordan signed up for the ShopHERE powered by Google program to execute the website she wanted for her brand. Being an artist and a creative person, she had lots of ideas of how she wanted the Enarmoured website to look, but not the knowledge to set it up.
“Not only does my site look professional, but it is easy to navigate and I’m confident that with all the help I’ve received that I will be able to manage all the updates on my own.”
Jordan found the process straightforward, fast, and affordable with the help of skilled eCommerce Coordinators who helped her vision for the website come to life.
Now that her business is online, Jordan is able to directly communicate with her clients. Her website acts as a storefront for her jewellery brand. Prior to having a website, she heavily relied on in-person events to generate income. With the help of the ShopHERE powered by Google program, Jordan is now able to access a wider audience and have her business open 24/7.
Her advice to other business owners is to persevere, pivot, and ask for help.
“Everything is an experiment this year so don’t be afraid to take a bit of calculated risk.”
